Highland’s Striped Beefsteak
Indeterminate 75 days to maturity, the Highland Striped Beefsteak is an exceptionally vigorous heirloom-style tomato that produces slightly irregular, beautifully striped fruits with stunning tri-color marbling of orange, yellow, and red. This strain was saved from a remarkable 3.5-pound tomato, and it continues to produce humongous fruit clusters averaging 2+ lbs per tomato. Will require trellising, vines can and will grow over 20ft if not pruned.
Inside, you’ll find a meaty interior with moderate juice and thin, tender skin. The flavor is smooth and well balanced, offering a perfect harmony of sweetness and acidity — rich without being overpowering. An impressive, high-yielding plant that combines eye-catching beauty with outstanding size and flavor. Perfect for eating fresh, right off the vine!
