Highland’s Purple Beefsteak

Indeterminate 65 days to maturity Highland Purple is a large, juicy slicer with a meaty flesh. Average size is 10-16 oz per tomato, but can grow up to 1.5lbs. Rich with a more savory  flavor than your average beefsteak. Highland purple is bursting with complex flavors. Great for slicing, salads, and sauces.

General Growing Requirements:

Full Sun: 6-8+hrs 

Temperature: 70-85 F daytime, 55-60 F night temperatures 

Soil: Well-drained, fertile soil 6.0-7.0pH

Water: Consistent moisture, do not over water and soil should never be soggy

Plant: Indoor- 6-8 weeks before last frost

Transplant: After frost risk passes and soil warms

Space: 2-3ft apart prune regularly when mature to allow good airflow and promote new growth
